Hi Girls,
Has anyone bought this yet? Is it any good?
I currently wear sports bras by shock absorber and although they provide good support, unless I wear a top underneath it cuts through my skin.
I forgot to wear a top underneath today and the middle of my chest (under the boobies) is like an open wound. It's so painful in the shower and I'll have to keep it covered up for a few days now until it heals.
Does everyone else have this problem?

Haven't tested the Run Shock Absorber yet. I can't say that any of my bras cut through my skin! I do get a red line under my boobs but that is from the heart rate monitor that I usually have under the bra band. At the moment I wear Saucony bras that have a lovely wide band underneath. The Shock Absorber I have (I've no idea which one it is) is my least favourite because it is very thin and I look like I have peanuts under my tops when running in it!! :O

Thanks Runaway Nan, I think your right. The band is really thin and on my shorter runs I get a big red mark but on longer runs it takes off the top layer of skin and then because I don't want to ruin my run I just push on through it and by the time I get home I look like I have a long thin burn on my chest.
Getting in the shower is agony, I have to cover it with a towel. I hope it doesn't scar?
Will have a look at the saucony ones as I have 3 shock absorber and they all have a very thin band.

wy don't you try a sports jock, nightmare to get on and off till you've got used to it but most comfortable bra I've used, nothing to rub. Although I think I read on one of the other threads somewhere there not much cop if you've got larger cup!

I have to say kc1, that what you're wearing sounds more like an instrument of torture than "motion control equipment"!!

I have to say my Shock Absorber bra is my least favorite - It gives me 'mono boob', alongside the sweating and red face they are not attractive features. It is also not very comfortable.
I had a bra that did exactly what Loobie described and to be fair it didn't really fit me properly, so that could be the problem.
I love my Freya Active, I have both the wired and non wired one and they are both fab.

I've just got the new Shock Absorber running bra - it's comfy with wide straps & better support than my old one. I guess everyone just has to try different bras to find the best for them.

Not hijacking the thread here ladies but just to let you know my latest Sweatshop sales flyers states they are doing three for two on all sports bras. I had a quick peek and the shock adsorber is there £36.00: http://www.sweatshop.co.uk/Results.cfm?category=4&secondary=18&CFID=3710398&CFTOKEN=82124386&jsessionid=7c30fc4fd657b3541e9d6a17275c1c33597b
