Run along the waves at the Limassol Marathon
If you’ve got those winter blues then why not catch up on your winter training in the sunshine of Cyprus. With a fast and flat coastal course the new Limassol Marathon promises to become a favourite.

The
Limassol International Marathon GSO is Cyprus’ major running event, organized
by Olympus Events Management and
supported by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation.
The only Marathon on the island accredited IAAF
and AIMS and also the official Marathon Race of the Cyprus Sports Association
(KOEAS).
The Limassol Marathon is a great chance to run an
almost flat race along a coastal route giving the feeling of ‘running along the
waves’ in temperatures averaging around 17 degrees.

The Organisers are confident the event will be a
memorable one, not only for its high sports specifications but also because of
the whole atmosphere that will be created by the various other events that are
planned to run parallel to the race.
It is expected to be a truly international event,
certain to attract thousands of people from Cyprus and abroad.
Registration is €50.00 for the Marathon, €40.00
for the Half Marathon and €20.00 for the 10k.
